SPYK Australian Property Mashup

Adam Cogan pinged me the other day to let me know about a new site that some of his SSW folks have mashed up.

SPYK is a mashup of Domain and Realestate.com.au property listings and Microsoft's Windows Live maps.

I'd seen people doing this in the USA with Google maps, but the data wasn't available here in the past. It's great to see some more cool web toys available with Australian data.

I found my way into http://www.suburbview.com/ the other day which is a similar thing but based over Google Maps.

Looking at the terms and conditions of some of the sites involved it would appear the data used by Spyk and SuburbView isn't *freely* available. It would be great to see the data licensed so that useful aggregating services like these can be viably established...

Indeed, I was going to ask about how they were getting the datafeed. Do you think it's a screen scrape ?
